Enthusiasm. It furthers to appoint helpers and to set armies marching.

THE IMAGE

Thunder comes resounding out of the earth: the image of Enthusiasm. Thus the kings of old made music to honor merit, and offered it in splendor to the Supreme, inviting their ancestors.

THE LINES

Six at the beginningEnthusiasm that boasts of itself: misfortune.

Six in the second placeFirm as a rock: he does not wait for the day to end. Perseverance brings good fortune.

Six in the third placeEnthusiasm that looks upward creates remorse; whoever hesitates finds remorse.

Nine in the fourth placeThe source of enthusiasm: much is attained. Do not doubt. Friends gather around you as around a hair-clasp.

Six in the fifth placePersistently ill, and yet never dies.

Six at the topDeluded enthusiasm: but if after completion one changes, there is no blame.
